TERMS OF HIRE

  1. Hello Wheelchair Hire. We will not accept liability for any incidents arising from the use or misuse of the wheelchair.

  2. For full safety instructions on how to use the wheelchair please refer to our website for more information . Please familiarise yourself with these before use. If there is any damage or defect then the wheelchair must not be used and we must be notified immediately on the number below.

  3. The hirer is responsible for the loss of or damage to the wheelchair while in their possession, regardless of cause. Repairs will be charged at cost (parts and labour). The replacement charge for a lost, stolen, or non-returned wheelchair is currently up to £495 GBP (in addition to rental charges paid). Lost accessories are charged at full price. All prices are subject to change.

  4. On return, the wheelchair should be ready for collection at the confirmed pick-up Date and time. If it is not available at the due return time, extra pick-up charges will be made.

  5. Extension of the original confirmed hire period must be advised at least 24hrs before the return time.

  6. Any additional costs incurred by Hello Wheelchair Hire in relation to the pick-up or return of a wheelchair other than those included in the rental agreement will be charged to the hirer.

  7. No deposit is required—your credit card will guarantee the full replacement value of the wheelchair and the associated recovery costs.

  8. Refund policy: Early return of a wheelchair is only possible on rentals lasting over two weeks, and any refund amount is at our discretion.

  9. Cancellation after confirmation and payment (but before delivery) will incur an administration charge of 1 week of hire.

  10. Cancellation after delivery will incur the minimum hire charge + delivery & collection charges.

  11. For Airports and Public Areas Meets, Special rates for delivery or collection will be given, and waiting time will be a Maximum of 1 hour. From Communication to wait thereafter, 30-minute time slots will be charged at £22.50 for our Services to wait if possible.
